Practical Magic

Sundays are ideal for naps, eating too much candy,
and taking walks.
Today's ventured up to Greenwood Cemetery.

The picture above is from the courtyard of a mausoleum .

This is just outside a small chapel within the cemetery.
And this, I assume, is a cemetery cat.

Now, I don't know if this is actually true,
but I'm pretty sure this is from a grave of a sea-fairing lad.

I like the inscription at the bottom, "Surgeon and Soldier".

Lindsey commented recently about how when you are on the lookout for photograph opportunities in you neighborhood,
it forces you to look at what is really cool about where you are.

  2. Thanks, linds.
This winter has been long and cold, and now that spring is here, I can't help but feel some ownership of it, as though I willed the warm weather and blooms myself.

  4. I can only say, for sure, that they do not like when you run in the cemetery. Casual walking appears to be okay. They do tram tours for goodness sake.
And Annie, give me a day. For sure. None of this vague-ness.
