To Get a Car out of Impound

Guess who came to visit.

I'll just tell you.

This guy (pictured below, right).

He and Elizabeth ate tacos (twice), went to the MoMA, Ellis Island,
walked the Brooklyn Bridge at night, ate bbq in my garden,
slept a little, watched King of Kong: Fist Full of Quarters
(Brady fell off the couch laughing at one point),
took the F train and the R train,
and the trunk of Andy and Shiloh's car,
got a little sunburned on the top deck of the ferry to Ellis Island,
and went to Coney Island.

That we did on Saturday night,
and I heard Elizabeth say she would move here
so she could go to
Coney Island
all the time.

I know just how she feels.

On the menu: tacos (as mentioned), hot dogs, chili cheese fries, and lemonade.
6 of us shared 1 funnel cake, and it was still too much...it always is.

*the title of this blog is in reference to a Seinfeld episode where Jerry goes to Coney Island to get his car out of impound, but, instead, ends up spending the day eating hot dogs and riding the Cyclone with a guy he meets on the subway.

  1. Jealousy surrounds me. I miss his stories and tales, and then you throw in the eating of tacos. Why do you torment me.

  2. no way. I just, 5 minutes ago, finished watching King of Kong. I am speechless about it. Except how about I cried when stupid Billy Mitchell sent in that record-winning tape? ewww. But, in the end, the good prevailed. What a great movie. Did you see Jesus Camp?
