A Saturday, Gone
Last night (Friday) at 10:00 pm, the Brooklyn 24 hour film festival began.
Last night, at 2:00 am, I got a call from Ryan, the assistant director, telling me what the script was about, and what to wear. He told me to dress "smart casual", to which I responded with a derisive snort. I mean, it was 2 in the morning, I was barely awake, and Ryan had just said, in all earnestness, "smart casual".
This morning, at 5:30 am, I woke up to take a shower.
This morning, at 7:00 am, James showed up from a night of writing to drive me to the location.
This morning, at 10:30 am, we started rehearsal on the one shot film, tentatively titled "Hometown Hero".
This afternoon, at 3:00 pm, we wrapped.
I played a character named Valerie. We made Annie (the sister) spend the day hanging out in Greenpoint playing an interested partygoer instead of going to the Museum of Natural History, like she wanted to. James hasn't brushed his teeth since 7:00 am Friday, and he's currently asleep on the couch.
