Demosthenes Says

Yoko Ono did an exhibit for the MoMA. Part of it is a tree, placed in the courtyard. There are tags for you to write your wishes on, then, hang them on the tree.

After a while, they are moved from the tree into floor that houses the rest of her exhibit.

This World Cup wish was one of my favorites.

Another (not pictured) was the wish, "I wish you didn't split up the Beatles".

I made a wish (also not pictured), because, when it's your own wish, it's more secret.

This is Taylor (niece) attaching her wish to the tree.

Her wish, below.

Nothing is easier than self-deceit. For what each man wishes, that he also believes to be true.
-Demosthenes, Third Olynthiac

  1. Oh, that is cool. I wish I had come. I have lots of wishes. Mostly involving tapioca clothing.

  2. James, tapioca clothing would melt in a second in this heat.

    Be serious.
