It's difficult, however, because I find myself totally exhausted. Like, I just ran a marathon (which I didn't) exhausted. Like, hard to drag myself out of bed in the morning, falling asleep on the subway to school kind of tired.
James brought me this little beauty (pictured above) earlier this week, I think as some sort of recovery aid. You know--like in marathons, how they hand out bananas to the runners. Kind of like that--but with more pudding. Now, I have my problems with the cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery (OVERRATED), but, oh, their banana pudding. It's...ineffable.
I did manage to clean my apartment today, for the first time in...weeks. There are still piles of coffee cups and receipts and uneaten craft service snacks (who needs 30 oz of dry roasted edamame?), but, the piles are slightly more organized, and, I vacuumed.
There's lots more to do with our project. Lots. That's the amazing thing about film--shooting is just the beginning. But, James and I are already hungry for more. We've started talking about what we'll do next. Probably Hello, Dolly II*.
*oh, did I not mention that the hamlet (it's not quite a town) where we filmed was where Hello Dolly was filmed? hmm, I thought I had.
