I re-learned to make friendship bracelets. I first learned about age 8 when my sister, Silvia, taught me. I valued that skill then as I value it now. Wearing them makes me feel like I just got back from summer camp.

I wish.

Who needs one?

Wait, that's a crazy question, as everyone needs one. How about leave a comment and I'll pick a commenter at random and bestow a handcrafted friendship bracelet.

  1. pretty sure I need one that is color coordinated to yours, perhaps complimentary colors, or the same color, so that people know that we are wicked besties.

  2. Is that how you choose your friends? At random? Like winning the lottery?

  3. I knew you at 8 years old when you learned to make them and I never received one then. I think this would be a great gift 20+ years in the making.

Also, all the cool kids wear like 13 at a time so feel free to go nuts.
