For All 10 Years

Andy and Shiloh left a week ago tomorrow, and we unspooled their last Wednesday in New York all together.  After Times Square yoga, we met up for lunch for Vietnamese sandwiches at Hanco's on 7th (hey, who else is kind of over Vietnamese sandwiches?), and then, despite Kent's obvious disinterest, we ambled down to Ample Hills Creamery for cones.

We walked back through the park, because it's the perfect way to spend a golden afternoon, and, strangely, though we could all feel the tick of time, there was time for that.

We said goodbye on the corner of 9th and 6th, where we have parted ways literally hundreds of times, and then they boarded a flight to Portland.

Ten years is a long time, and this past 5 in New York has been, well, golden.

Here's to ten more, chums.

But then that's it.

We miss you.
