Inside and Outside

I take the same picture over and over.  It's many pictures: it's the shot--looking bright-blue skyward--of blossom laden branches in the spring.  It's also landscape of people at the beach.  Right now it's Edie, in our backyard, and water.  Or Edie, wreathed in her sweetness, against the wood of our floors.  I keep taking these pictures because I keep thinking that these moments are beautiful and special.

And they are.

  1. So, you know she has tiny James feet, right?

  2. I know. I've noticed. I'm just ignoring them and hoping they kind of slim down and get some shape to them and what she has right now is just baby marshmallow feet syndrome. I'm hoping.
